Join us for Academic & Abstract Day
Perspectives of Psychedelic Industry and it’s Impact to the Society
As the medical applications of psychedelics become increasingly recognized, the abstract track at the Psychedelics as Medicine Conference, scheduled for February 26th, 2025—one day before the main conference on February 27th —aims to delve into the future implications of both novel and traditional psychedelics. This science-driven track particularly explores the intersection of research, business, and societal impact within the domain of psychedelics and society.

The Abstract Track is a complementary seminar day which bridges scientific research and practical application, creating a collaborative environment that promotes innovation, inclusivity, and diversity. While we won’t focus on theory building or peer-reviewed cutting-edge research, this track will make science accessible and connect it with real-world practices with following aims:
1. Addressing Critical Questions
Despite growing media attention and positive preliminary trial results on psychedelics, many essential questions remain unanswered. This track offers a platform to explore critical issues at the intersection of research, business, and societal impact within the field of psychedelics.
2. Promoting Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Understanding psychedelics demands an interdisciplinary approach. This track brings together psychologists, physicians, pharmacologists, sociologists, philosophers, theologians, anthropologists, artists, and others, fostering collaboration and rich idea exchanges across diverse scientific and practical fields.
3. Connecting Science with Practice
Translating research into real-world application is essential for advancing psychedelics therapeutically. By sharing research findings and discussing their implications, researchers and practitioners can collaborate on evidence-based therapeutic approaches, ensuring that psychedelic treatments are safe, effective, and accessible.
4. Stimulating Knowledge Sharing
The Abstract Track serves as a forum to showcase research and innovations in psychedelics. It offers an opportunity to present new ideas, works-in-progress, or published findings, engage in valuable discussions, and receive feedback that could spark further insights and advancements.
5. Encouraging Inclusivity and Diversity
The conference’s multidisciplinary commitment is upheld by welcoming contributions from researchers, students, and professionals from varied disciplines and backgrounds. This diversity enhances the track by ensuring a broad range of perspectives and experiences are represented.
Participation requires a separate €50 ticket along with the main event pass.
