Academic  & Association Day

This event will be held in the Innovation and Business Center Gróska and showcase recent research to foster collaboration within the field. During the morning session, there will be presentations on various topics. The afternoon highlights presentations from Nordic psychedelic associations from Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland, offering insights into their contributions to the field of psychedelics in the region. The day is concluded by signing a Collaboration Manifesto between the associations. After the signing, we will enjoy dinner together before departing for a relaxing evening at the Sky Lagoon Hot Springs.

The morning talks cover various topics, from scientific methodologies and cultural perspectives to policy frameworks and philosophical inquiries. The day will also feature Nordic psychedelic art, including live painting and an exhibition of psychedelic art by visionary artist Luca Delgado (Finland), a VJ performance by Konstantin Zotov (Finland), and an exhibition of psychedelic spiritual art by Brynja Magnusson (Iceland).

Dr. Jukka-Pekka Heikkilä, Track Lead

The track lead is Dr. Jukka-Pekka Heikkilä, a Stanford and Harvard University affiliate with a small team of researchers from Nordic’s psychedelics research association. Currently, Dr. Heikkilä is researching Burning Man strategy in an Open Strategy project with Aalto University and the University of Oxford https://openstrategy.fi/ and BIO.

Cecilie Byholt Endresen, Moderator

The moderator for this event is Cecilie Byholt Endresen, Chair of Norwegian Psychedelic Science in Rogaland. Cecilie is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a specialization in Organizational Psychology, a dedicated Nature Advocate and a Daughter of the Forest. She is passionate about human connection, our relationship with nature, and expanded states of consciousness. More information here.
